Speciality Pigments

Inorganic pigments are generally safe in processing and final-use and environmentally-friendly too.

Special aaplication of Iron oxide pigments

Speciality

We are in the position in offering different pigments and preparations for applications that not listed here. Our strength rather is to develop special colour compositions for clients in our R & D laboratory. We deliver colour pigments in powder form for various applications. But often the technical factors play a more important role than the colour aspect itself. Benefit of the advantage of our 18 years experience with pigments and contact us for further advice.

Our Inorganic pigments are highly appreciated in Plastic Industries because of their:

Compatibility with all kinds of polymers

Maintenance of polymer’s dimensional stability

Heat fastness

Light and weather fastness

Opacity

Popular application of Iron Oxide Pigments

Foundry Industry

The foundry industry adds Iron Oxides to molding sand to avoid surface defects on castings. It also increases stability of the moulds and further more the colouring of the castings are helpful. When Iron oxides losses oxygen, the loss of volume is insignificant but has a positive effect on the flow of the surface of the sand grains. Red iron oxides are generally added in a proportion of 1-2% which has proven to be suitable also with other sand additives. Black iron oxides is fractional coarser and should be used by 1-4% Suitable products are, i.e. Golchha Oxides Red 110, 120, 301 and 225, Golchha Oxides Yellow 925.

Glass Industry

Inorganic pigments are suitable for ionic colouring.
Depending on the oxidation of the glass melting colouring with iron oxide Golchha Oxides 445, Golchha Oxides 925 and Golchha Oxides 225 results in yellow up to brown shades.

Wood Chips/Mulch

Coloured mulch is an innovative product for decorating and colouring of every landscape as well as for decorative topping of planted pots.
Adding of Golchha Oxides pigment an especially designed pigment for this application and water during shredding with hammer shredders or in the course of a mixing procedure wood chips may easily be coloured without concern in corresponding shades, because our pigments are brilliant, durable and environmental friendly. Colourful effects are possible which could not be obtained by the common bark mulch so far. Show colour!

WPC (Wood Plastic Composites)

It looks like wood and can be processed like wood, however, offers great advantages compared to this natural material. Whereas wood plastic composites (WPC) have already been booming since the twenties, these products for home and garden have become popular in India only during the past few years. These composite materials consisting of wood fibres and thermoplastic plastics are suitable for many applications. Different methods of colouring WPC have been established in the market. Apart from colouring by masterbatch - which was a frequently used method in the past – particularly colouring by inorganic colour pigments has prevailed in the market during the last few years. For the colouring of WPC by means of powder pigment mixtures people counts on the proven inorganic pigments from Golchha Oxides. These pigments provide best results in simulating the requested wooden or earth colour shades.

Friction Materials

Iron Oxide is used as raw material of fraction linings such as brake linings and clutch linings, among others, to strengthen the materials and to ensure a long service life. Furthermore, the thermal conductivity of iron oxide is used to dissipate the occurring frictional heat. And by the way, our iron oxide provide for a uniform colouring of the friction materials and help to reduce the noise emission. We are pleased to offer you the appropriate iron oxide, which are perfectly adjusted to your application.
